Are there any side-effects associated with it? What are the success rates? Is there any difference between IUI and IVF? We make an embryo outside the womb by mixing egg and sperm inside the laboratory. Once the embryo is formed, the same will be transferred into the womb. There is a certain indication where IVF is the choice. So, in the first subset where you require IVF, where any female with a blocked fallopian tube or her tubes were removed because of any cause like ectopic pregnancy, damaged tube or there is any genetic issue with the couple or premature ovarian failure or the female achieve her menopause before the age of 40. In IVF, you have to take the bed rest, but it is a daycare procedure and it does not mean any kind of bed rest.
You can resume your normal activities once the procedure is done. Then people think that IVF is meant only for rich people. So, yes, IVF is costly if you compare with other modalities. So, it is the treatment of choice. Next people think IVF means C-Section. C-Section depends upon your antenatal course and it's being decided by your gynecologist.
