Hello, in my knowledge it can really help her, enhance and/or maximise the functional ability.
Nothing is hundred percent guaranteed but rather than letting her be, it is better to get treatment done.
Will be good for you and your family.
Consult a neurologist before going ahead, there are other ways too, so it would be good to show her reports, history etc. To a neurologist and go ahead.

Below are exercises that strengthen the lower back and help manage lower back pain:

1. Bridges—lie on the ground and bend the knees, placing the feet flat on the floor hip-width apart.
Press the feet into the floor, keeping the arms by the sides.
Raise the buttocks off the ground until the body forms a straight line from the shoulders to the knees.
Squeeze the buttocks with the shoulders remaining on the floor.
Lower the buttocks to the ground and rest for a few seconds....more

Hi, thank you for the question. There are some simple things that you can do to try and help. First of all, try to avoid sitting on hard surfaces for long periods of time - some women will even try sitting on an inflatable ring to avoid any direct pressure on the end of the tail bone. A heating pad or a warm soak in the tub can provide some relief. Recommended amounts of pain relievers can give short periods of relief. You need to stick to one treatment amd solve it all. In physiotherapy initially you are advised to do the electrotherapy and once pain subsides start the exercises to strengthen the paraspinal muscles and also do stretches to relax the pinched nerve. Even cupping therapy helps. The exercise regime has to be continued post treatment too inorder to keep your spine healtgy.
