Sir it will be better if you take your father to a doctor. This could be a case of allergic reaction with the drug. You need to know that perticular drug to avoid intake in future and get treatment for the existing condition.

Dear Lybrate user,
due to long time use of tobacco, there is develop a disease condition known as "Oral Sub Mucous Fibrosis" in this disease mouth opening reduces with increase of time.
Treatment:- you should quite tobacco i.e. Pan, gutkha, bidi, cigfate etc. Maintain oral hygiene. Avoid spicy food. Contact to dentist for treatment of OSMF and increase your mouth opening also.

The treatment of OSMF will range from somewhere 15,000- 20,000 rs. Depending on how much mouth opening is there and what type of surgery you are opting. Laser se karwana hai ya bina laser se.
