Dear lybrate-user, during orthodontic treatment one or more teeth removal may be needed to create space ,i.e. When after diagnosis the amount of space available is found to be lesser than that required for orthodontic correction. It completely varies from person to person. Please consult your orthodontist, as the treatment has begun, he/she will be able to explain in detail based on your dental condition and xrays, and what they have planned for your treatment.

You may go for lingual or invisalign or ceramic braces now your low budget is how low is known to you such tt come out much cheaper in a dental college but if your 13 it has to b examined if tt should be started at this age or not is diabetes under control.

There is certainly a way to avoid it, that is maintenance of oral hygiene. Brush twice daily, keep your teeth clean and visit your dentist at least every six months. In case the situation has already progressed, there are certain methods to treat the same. Most common way being periodontal surgery. Cost of it varies depending on the location and expertise of doctor.

Receding Gums doesnot happen in one day. It takes years of bacteria and millions of bacteria to reduce the level of gum and make space for itself. 99 percent of time it is you who welcomes the bacteria, not remove the plaque , not brush at bed time, no mouthwas use, no floss or interdental toothpick or brush.

gum recession has different grades and needs to be assessed by a specialist to assign that grade to it.
After we have assigned a grade can we proceed for treatment. As you can imagine lower the grade-easier/lesser/more successful the treatment.
And as the grade increases the complexity/cost/treatment duration also increase with consequent lowering of prognosis and full recovery.
Please see a specialist near you.
