Hello lybrate-user, filariasis has got nothing to do with what you eat. If you are positive for filariasis infection you can effectively treat it with medicine. If you already got lymphedema associated with filariasis disease, then it can't be cured. Please get proper medical help.

As your father have filariasis on both legs for 15 years and sciatica -recently --i recommend a check-up by a good medical consultant first.
