As per US report, she seems to be having polycystic ovaries, it is a common problem and it is too early to say that she will have any problem in conceiving. Prolonged periods soon after marriage can be due to stress. Irregularity in periods does happens in many girls for few months after marriage. If she doesnot conceive after trying for 5-6 months, get her honmones tested.

Kindly do necessary blood test post op including ca ovary specific marker test and CT imaging to see for any residual tissue. Further treatment depends upon these results.
