I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Shin splints are an overuse problem. You get shin splints from overloading your leg muscles, tendons or shin bone. Shin splints happen from overuse with too much activity or an increase in training. Most often, the activity is high impact and repetitive exercise of your lower legs.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Hello lybrate-user, Welcome to Lybrate.
For your pain, you can try some oral analgesics like ibuprufen or paracetamol. Also you can go for pain relief ointments like diclofenac gel. But remember not to exhaust yourself with practicing overtime before your final test.
All the best!

This exercise will strengthen the extension muscles in the upper back.
How to do it: lie face down with your head lifted off the floor. Your lower back needs to be slightly hyper-extended. Stretch your arms straight out in a y position with your thumbs pointing up. Pull your arms back in an arc until your hands are in a ‘handcuff’ position. Slowly reverse your arms until you’re at the start. Repeat 2 or 3 times.

Because we often work on our front body — especially when strengthening our chest to help with pectusexcavatum — this exercise will help balance your body by strengthening your posterior chain — those muscles on the back of the body.
1.Lie on your stomach on a mat with your arms extended in front of you and your forehead resting on the ground.

On an upward incline your foot will have to dorsiflex (that is toes and foot move upwards to clear the ground) more than normal. Repetitive use would make the muscles in front of shin to work harder and does not relax. You may try to reduce to incline activity and do level walking to observe if it really changes your pain (to ascertain the above said probability). You may try to stre...more
