My son is 27 years old for 2-3 years he got squint in his one eye we consulted to ganpati netralay jalna and lv prasad eye institute hyderabad both recommended surgery is the the surgery only option for squint treatment? Or is there any other way to treat squint problem.

Squint is best treated by surgery if specialist has advised you.
Treating 'lazy eye' (amblyopia) is possible by wearing glasses to correct any refractive error in one or both eyes.
Strabismus surgery to correct the appearance of the squint itself is also done. This may help to restore binocular vision. So your eye doctor's decision is the best.

Kya squint problem contoura vision treatment se theek ho sakti hai. Yaa phir kisi aur laser treatment se. Meri right eye me squint hai and uska number -8 hai and left eye ka - 3.5 hai. Please guide. And squint problem bachpan se nhi hai mujhe ye school time start hui thi shayad jab 16-17 saal ka tha.

I have myopia with -6 power on both eyes. From past 1 year, squint occurs when focusing far objects. This squint occurs in the eye from which I do not focus & if switched focus to other eye, then other eye squints. But not both at a time. Doctor after check-up suggested to go for refractive surgery & later on with squint surgery. Are both surgeries required? Corneal thickness on right eye is 465 microns & on left is 471 microns? Can I undergo prk or icl?
