Squint is best treated by surgery if specialist has advised you.
Treating 'lazy eye' (amblyopia) is possible by wearing glasses to correct any refractive error in one or both eyes.
Strabismus surgery to correct the appearance of the squint itself is also done. This may help to restore binocular vision. So your eye doctor's decision is the best.

Yogic exercises may also help to a great extent but you have to keep patience. Modern surgery is also helpful.
