Hello lybrate-user! you don't need such medicines if you have developed sprain in the toe. You should take rest for 4-5 days, apply splint, and take antiinflamatory agent for 4-5 days. I would advise not to take medicines over the counter from next time before seeing a doctor.

Cold compresses can help reduce swelling in the area. Cooling also helps to numb sharp pain. Apply an ice pack for up to 20 minutes, up to five times a day. Use a frozen gel pack, ice cubes in a plastic bag, or a bag of frozen peas. Wrap the cold pack in a soft towel. Do not apply a cold pack directly to skin.
Heat helps to relax tense muscles and soothe a stiff area. It can help with muscle pain. Use a heated gel pack, heating pad or a hot water bottle.

1. Child’s pose
this resting pose stretches and lengthens your spine, glutes, and hamstrings. The child’s pose helps to release tension in your lower back and neck.
To do this:

2.Fold forward at your hips and walk your hands out in front of you.
3.Sink your hips back down toward your feet. If your thighs won’t go all the way down, place a pillow or folded blanket ...more
