Symptoms Of Chickenpox

Chickenpox symptoms mostly vanish naturally. But when the person suffers from rashes severely, then the symptom should. When the rashes get red, warmer or tender, it leads to a secondary bacterial skin infection. The chickenpox rashes are very itchy and but the person should not scratch them. When the rash is scratched, marks will appear. Secondary bacterial infection of the chickenpox lesions normally caused by Streptococcus pyogenes or Staphylococcus aureus and it results in skin infections such as erysipelas, impetigo, cellulitis, lymphadenitis and furunculosis.
Dizziness
Chickenpox may affect the central nervous system in children. The cerebellar portion disorder of the brain may occur with dizziness, tremor, and altered speech. Inflammation of the brain with headaches (Encephalitis), seizures, and decreased consciousness and nerve damages may occur. When the person/child experiences severe dizziness, it is advisable to stay away from normal activities to avoid injuries and seeking medical attention is vital to rule out the exact cause behind the symptom.
Shortness of breath
Some people suffer from shortness of breath (dyspnea) problem during the time of the chicken pox. This symptom may rise as an acute from anaphylaxis (a severe allergic reaction), upper airway obstruction, anxiety and etc. It may calm down within hours or after recovery. As dyspnea causes due to the chickenpox, it seems not a dangerous symptom. Doing breathing exercises, refraining from smoke and exposing to enough air will help out better. If the patient is already a victim to asthma, lung and heart problem, then he should seek immediate consultation with the physician.
Vomiting
Vomiting is one of the symptoms of chickenpox and rarely people are affected by this symptom. In this symptom, people forcefully vomit the stomach contents and feel dehydrated. Viral infection due to chickenpox would be the main cause of vomiting. Besides, stomach ulcers, gastritis, food poisoning, appendicitis, and excessive alcohol intake are the secondary causes of vomiting. Mostly, vomiting will be suppressed at home care itself. When it is uncontrollable, the physician will put the patient on medication to reduce nausea and fluid replacement for dehydration.
Stiff neck
A Stiff neck either experienced alone or accompanied with headaches. In most cases, the affected people are bedridden for several days and the muscles start to lose activities. The Inactive muscles make the body muscles stiff and the lying posture makes the neck muscles stiff. It can be treated with prescribed medicines (NSAID). Applying ice and hot pack, doing mild stretching exercises, paying attention to posture are the simple ways to throw the pain off.
You can’t control your muscles
When the tumor starts affecting enzymes and hormones involved in digestion, the patient may feel sick and discomfort in his stomach. The amount of acid secretion is increased in certain pancreatic cancers. The condition partially or completely blocks the stomach and intestine, preventing food from getting through. This causes nausea, vomiting and pain that turn worst after the food intake.
Fever over 102 F
Fever is a common symptom of chickenpox and it can be controlled and treated. Since the virus attacks the immune system, fever rises along with headaches, body pain. When the affected person feels feverish, body pain he may take appropriate doses of Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) until fever comes to control. If the person’s fever runs over 102 F, then he immediately seeks medical advice in order to prevent any serious complications like convulsions, unconsciousness etc.,
