Be particular about food choices & timings. Follow the proper do's and don't of diabetes avoid all refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Avoid high starchy foods such as rice, potato & colocasia. Include more fiber, pulses & green leafy vegetables in your diet. Avoid sweetend fruits such as banana, mango, litchi, chickoo, grapes from your diet.

Yes she can develop diabetes, just a few signs excessive thirst, hunger,tiredness, frequent urination and sometimes associated with unexplained weight loss are some common symptoms.
However it is better to confirm by a sugar test after the approval of endocrinologist.

Symptoms of diabetes include, increased frequency of urination, increased thirst, incresed appetite, weight loss,tingling sensation of legs, generalized weakness etc.
Not all symptoms may be there.
If in doubt better get your fasting blood sugars and post lunch blood sugars tested.

Whenever beta cells of the pancreas are damaged it can lead to high sugar levels and few symptoms of diabetes are - increase in appetite, urine output, thirst, decrease in weight etc and in a known case of diabetic we need to control sugar levels with medication, aerobic exercise and following a diabetic diet.
