From the limited information presented here, I understand that some nodule was biopsied and it shows adenocarcinoma which means it's cancer deposit spread from somewhere. Next step in your work up would be pet ct along with tumor markers (cea, ca 19-9, ca 125etc.). Based on these reports further investigations or treatment will be planned.

The percentage of women getting pregnant after the endometriosis surgery ranges between 75% to 80%. Most women will become pregnant after the surgery without any health issues or medication. It, however, may happen in some rare cases where medical assistance would be required for carrying pregnancy or some complications may occur while planning a baby. If a woman is facing issue in getting pregnant within six to 12 months after the surgery, it is recommended to go for vitro fertilization.

Abdominal swelling can go away post endometriosis surgery but you won't get immediate relief as few obvious complications and discomfort after the surgery may take time to go. Once the post-surgical symptoms vanish, you may feel decrease in the abdominal swelling, pelvic pain, and few other signs of endometriosis.

Laparotomy surgery is majorly effective for women having moderate endometriosis. The treatment is as trustable as laproscopy though the procedure is much complex. In 20% to 30% women, endometriosis returns back in about five years of time.

Laparotomy surgery is a major surgery and it takes some for complete recovery. Usually it takes 3 to 4 days for your normal work. You have to wait for 7 to 10 days for sexual intercourse after the surgery. It takes around 4 to 8 weeks for overall recovery from the laparotomy surgery.

Laparotomy surgery for endometriosis, also known as exploratory laparotomy, is a major surgery as it involves anesthesia and a big cut in the belly. This condition comes in case of severe endometriosis as it cannot be treated through a simple laparoscopy. Risks involving the surgery are bleeding, infection, reaction to anesthesia, and poor healing at the incision. Other risks include damage to other abdominal organs during the process and a hernia at the incision site.
