Dear lybrate-user gum recession has different grades and needs to be assessed by a specialist to assign that grade to it. After we have assigned a grade can we proceed for treatment. As you can imagine lower the grade-easier/lesser/more successful the treatment. And as the grade increases the complexity/cost/treatment duration also increase with consequent lowering of prognosis and full recovery. Please see a specialist near you.
