Erectile dysfunction is a condition wherein a person has trouble maintaining an erection for having sex. A person suffering from the problem of erectile dysfunction must include greeny leafy vegetables like spinach and celery in their diet as they improve the circulation of blood. Foods rich in nitrates like beet juice must be incorporated in the diet of the person. Nitrates work as vasodilators. Researchers have revealed that consuming nuts like pistachio provides significant improvement in issues related to erectile dysfunction.
Foods rich in zinc like oyster and shellfish can be included in the diet as they stimulate the release of a sex hormone in a person. Incorporating fruits rich in phytonutrients like watermelon is beneficial as it relaxes the blood vessels which provide erection in a person. If a person is under the medical treatment of a doctor then medicine must be taken regularly as advised by the doctor as medicines also play an important role in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
