Benefits of yoga for skin problems
The largest organ in the body with respect to surface area and weight is the skin. It serves as insulation for the body. There are several irritants which when comes in the contact of the skin lead to the development of various skin problems. Some of the causes of skin problem include imbalanced hormones, free radicals, sensitivity to the sun and toxins. Yoga provides a one-stop natural solution for alleviating all the problems of the skin. There are various simple asanas in yoga that help in attaining the desired results in skin problems.
Yoga improves the blood circulation in the neck, face, and head which helps in improving the health of the skin. Due to improved blood circulation fresh oxygenated blood reaches the face which makes the skin healthy. Through yoga, the facial muscles also get relaxed leading to balancing of the hormones. Yoga removes the toxins and eliminates the free radicals which may be causing skin problems. Avocado, when incorporated in the diet, provides rich dividends in improving skin health. Broccoli is one food products whose health benefits seem to be unlimited. It a very good source of various vitamins and minerals which not only prevents the skin from cancer but it also protects from sunburn.
