Get an mri brain to rule out any intracranial pathology, mostly look like migrain or cluster headache. Start tab betacap plus 5 mg once daily and tab gabapin 100 mg once daily in night, take atleast for 3 month than stop slowly.

My mother in law facing severe headache from many years, it will be for everyday for 1 or 2 months in every 6 months. She is using spectacles for sight. Doctor said there is no problem with the eye we need to consult other doctors for which she is not accepting for at least consultation. Everyday it will be a normal headache for which she takes saridon tablet but once in a while she face severe headache where she won't eat or drink for whole day & gets vomit. Severe headache last for 2 days. Please suggest us & what would be the reason for it.
