Dr V.V.Raja Sekhar has completed his under graduation and post graduation from Dr NTR University of health sciences. He has been a meritorious student since his early days. Known for his clinical acumen and surgical skill, he was trained in many internationally renowned centers like Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore under Dr S. Rajasekaran, sportsmen Mumbai under Dr Anant Joshi and Orthopedic Klinik Markgronigen , Germany under Dr Jorg Richter. 

During his training he developed special interest towards knee care and has mastered the techniques of knee surgery like arthroscopy, ligament reconstructions cartilage repair joint preservation and joint replacement surgeries. 

His passion is treatment of young arthritic knee which needs specialised care as they are not amenable for joint replacement and shouldnt be suffering till they get old. So they need to be treated with special joint preservation techniques like HTO, UNI etc. 

He is currently working as consultant in KIMS ICON Hospital, sheelanagar , visakhaptnam since last 5 years and runs a private clinic at MVP colony
