My mother has been suffering from herpes she got from her forehead which turned to neuralgia n has effected her eye which might lead to glaucoma. We have tried going to different doctors but all in vain please advice is Botox a good therapy.

It is called post herpetic syndrome ,pain &burning sensation will gradually disappear in a year or two but it will disappear, you may take B12 in high dose at least for a year(tab neurokind forte one tab daily)& use analgesics tab if unbearable pain ,you may also lubricating eye drops ( genteal eye drops) 3-4 times regularly I will not advise you to go for botox, there is no chance of glaucoma in post herpetic neuralgia with regards
