Why do I feel like i'm dying all the time? Is it anxiety or panic attacks. Sometimes I feel like I am having a heart attack. I saw my cardiologist and he did tests and all came back normal. He told nothing wrong with my heart.

Dear lybrate-user, The symptoms of panic attacks are shortness of breath or hyperventilation, heart palpitations or racing heart, chest pain or discomfort, trembling or shaking, choking feeling, feeling unreal or detached from your surroundings, sweating, feeling dizzy, light-headed, or faint, numbness or tingling sensations, fear of dying, losing control, or going crazy etc. As you can see many of these can also be signs of a heart attack. The next time you feel a panic attack coming look around you and try to identify: - 5 things you can see, -4 things you can feel -3 things you can hear, -2 things you smell, -1 thing you can taste. If the panic attacks persist it would be a good idea to consult a psychologist for further treatment. Please consult privately for further help. Good luck.
