I have a problem of stuttering and stammering and it is also a genetic issue that I got from my mother. Is it curable or not? And what can I do to prevent this disorder to transfer from me to my child.

Dear lybrate-user Stuttering can have genetic cause. We may not know where there your child will also get for sure but there is a chance. Everyone do stammer in their life and it's become unnotice certainly because they know to overcome without giving attention to it. My advice to you to have a consultation with speech therapist. They will make you like any other person provided you follow the approach.
