1. A person diagnosed with ocd, psychosis and multiple personality disorder was secretly given fludac 40 (mg) twice a day and risperidone (0.5 mg) as prescribed by the doctor (fludac for past 3 months and risperiodne for past week). Since not much effect is being seen, can risperidone dose be increased to 1 mg?

Dear thanks for asking your querry here. You concern is genuine. For psychosis the dose of risperidone is less. But the dose of fludac for ocd is ok. I am not aware about current psychotic symptoms of your brother. If still he has delusion or hallucoinations, you may ask for a review by his psychiatrist who may consider increasing the dose of risperidone.
