Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query Fasting 110 mg & PP 140 mg are at the upper limit of normal. Fasting :Normal: 70 to 110 mg PP:<140 mg / 100 ml. However, now a days 108 to 125 mg fasting is considered as Prediabetes. Also is called as Impaired fasting glucose. PP: 141 to 199 mg is called as Prediabetic or Impaired Glucose Intolerance (IGT). This means a person is likely to develop diabetes in near future, that is in next few months to some years. Considerung these facts you are at the borderline. The things which are likely to contribute to the development of franc diabetes are being over weight, having a family history, not exercising regularly and eating junk foods, taking colas. In your case with a BMI of 28.32 kgs /M2 (normal <23 kgs), you are more close to be an obese person. This can be a major contributor to wards developing diabetes. Your ideal body weight should be about 83 kgs. Thanks.
