I am a short tempered person and I am not able to control myself many times. I feel bad for small small reasons and will not be able to forgive or forget those incidents easily. I wish to have the attention of the person I love, always on me. And if I do not find his behaviour according to my expectations I get upset. Pls help me in controlling my feelings.

Hi lybrate-user, It's good and great to be able to accept ourselves with our strengths and flaws. I appreciate you for having that insight but the next step is to make an effort to control the emotions .You seem to be a little insecure about the scenario. Remember you cannot and must not control others behaviour but can have complete control over yourself. See yourself as a capable and worthy individual and keep yourself occupied to give meaning to each day. Have a schedule for the day with atleast 20 min of physical exercise definitely in it. Meditation and reading spiritually rich books can also help you overcome the anxiety and the mood swings you are going through. Best wishes.
