Hi, I'm 27 year old and I diagnosed diabetes in july 2017. That time my fasting is 223 and pp is 393. Then I taken doctor help. They given me the some medicine. So I've to continue the medicine or I do only exercise. Last week I checked my fasting level is 134 and pp is 239. Should I take medicine regularly or not.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Blood glucose fasting 134 mg & PP 239 mg both show that you have still not well controlled diabetes. In a well controlled diabetes FBG should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Further treatment for diabetes is for lifetime, along with diet control and regular exercise. Thanks.
