I have swelling gums and have got scaling done but there is no improvement. I have also been using gumex. There is also cuts in the swelling.

Hello lybrate-user, If there has been no improvement even after scaling, there there could be some issue with the bone beneath the gums, may be some kind of infection. I suggest that you get an OPG done, which is a full mouth x-ray, and consult a Periodontist (specialist) to solve the issue. There might be requirement for a deep scaling or a flap surgery, which is nothing to be worried about. In the meantime, maintain your oral hygiene by brushing twice a day and using a mouthwash. Also keep the tongue clean to ensure that there is no bad breath or foul smell from the mouth. Thank you.
