Prolactin hormone is responsible for milk secretion, in some pt prolactin hormone increases even when not pregnant leading to galactorrhea. You should get your serum prolactin levels done empty stomach, if prolactin is raised you will need medication You should also get your thyroid profile done as you are complaining of wt gain.
