I am suffering from diabetes from 2013. My weight is very low. I want to increase some weight. I am running, jogging keeping me active. FS-125, PP-165 What should I do.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. You have not mentined the age, so difficult to say whether weight is low. If you are below 50 yrs, then the weight is low.(ideal body weight = 80 kgs). Above 50 years it has to be 72 kgs. Your BMI at present is 22.54 kg/M2 which is very good. The glucose levels mentioned are fine. Fasting should be < 100 mg, PP is ok. There is no mention of HbA1c%, which should be <6.8 for very good control. You can add some protein foods, plus do regular strength building exercises (using weights and joining a gym). Jogging & running helps in keeping fit. But does not add weight or muscles. Thanks.
