I am a 42 year Old male. I get frequent pain in right upper abdomen and semi loose or loose stools 3-4 times every week or 15 days. Upon investigation I had mild fatty liver. I take Liv 52, Probiotics and light food to recover. This usually happens when I have mutton, outside food. So I am avoiding it but cannot do it completely instead I want a diagnosis and proper treatment. Please help.

No use taking LIV52 or probiotics for the Fatty liver. As for diarrhea, try changing your diet and consuming less of red meat. If the diarrhea is occurring quite frequently and with crampy pain, then it may be infective and you will need to take antibiotics. Metformin may in many patients cause diarrhea.
