If it is recurrent you should take preventive measures like removal of source of infection (nose, ears,umblicus) by topical like T-bact cream two times application for 5 days each month 2) using anti bacterial soap for bath soapex 3) soak feet for Luke warm water added with 1 grain of potassium permanganate 4) Avoid occlusive footwear like shoes 5) Antibiotic course for present infection 6) see if you have hyperhidrosis and take appropriate Rx 7) if you have ingrown nail, you can go for partial nail avulsion with matricectomy.
