I am 46 and was diagnosed with LGMD 2A about 25 years back. Presently my cpk was 1300 but with certain treatments it came down to 830. Does this signify the slowing down of the deterioration process? Kindly help.

LGMD is a genetic disease and hence we should control the symptoms and low cpk when compared to the previous readings is suggestive of decrease in the damage to the muscles
