My father is a thalassemia & Diabetes Mellitus, and blood transfusion for every 6 months. Recently under gone surgery for HIP replacement and back necrotizing fascists surgery of the right lower limb in 2010. Recently he started bleeding of blood from nose everyday 1 time. Is there any critical we need worry. Showed to local ENT in my hometown he said nothing worry but bleeding has not stopped.

Kindly check whether your father is on any anti platelet agents like T. Ecosprin /Aspirin or clopidogrel. Which are routinely given in diabetic agents for prevention of blockages. Kindly check whether intermittently his blood pressure is going high because of stress or inadequate treatment. Kindly check whether your father is put on any heparin like agents to prevent deep vein thrombosis post hip surgery. Kindly check patients bleeding time / clotting time /platelet count /PTPI You can start Vitmin C supplements as some times def leads to nasal bleeding.
