Sir, I myself am a doctor. I am suffering from allergic reaction whenever my skin is exposed to sun. I was examined and was diagnosed with Photodermatitis. So are there any effective medication that can help me to reduce the itching. Also I would like to know the precautions to be taken. The sunscreen of Nevia helps a bit. But that too is not much effective. Please provide me with the precautions and medications that can be used by me. Thank you.

Photo dermatitis is excessive sensitivity to sunlight. Some drugs can exacerbate this condition like NSAIDS, diuretics, antibiotics like tetracycline or sulfa containing drugs. Use sun screen lotion containing SPF 30. Cover up your exposed parts when at outdoor.
