I have two small yet visible burn spots on my face, frankly speaking, on my cheek. What cream would prove to be affective? Is there home remedy? Or should I opt for laser treatment. I'm currently using Elika-M ointment, somebody in my family suggested it. Should I continue it or its worthless? Please suggest what to do. Thanks.

Hello, Elica M is a steroid and antifungal and has nothing to with pigmentation or scars do not use it. Its hard to comment without seeing photographs. There are various treatments for scars which include creams, chemical peels, microdermaabrasion, microneedling, radiofrequency, surgery, fat fill laser etc. Creams work only for superficial pigmentation not for scars. You can start initially on milder depigmentation creams which contain kojic acid, arbutin, niacinamide like Melaglow at night and use sunscreen three times a day. And depending on type of skin whether oily or dry you can choose a face wash. It need examination and personalized plan. You can consult in private with photographs.

The two small burn spots appear to be depigmented due to heat injury. You can try vaseline moisturiser. Laser treatment is another alternative in treating the patch.
