My father is suffering from Age related Wet Macula degeneration in left eye since last 5 years, he has already taken 7 Avastin injections and 12 L-Lucentis injections. Now his vision is getting less compare to earlier one, he cannot identify the vision to distant people instead he can identify the nearer persons. Doctor suggested another Lucentis yet to be taken and we are not sure whether he will back his vision or not. Pls suggest whether there is any other treatment available in medical science and what will be that one. My father Age-69 yrs.

Ongoing treatment is right. Successful treatment may not restore normal vision, but it will improve sight and prevent central vision loss from worsening.
