Had a pregnancy test which was negative and went to lab for a test she had a test with strip which came out positive and again went to gynaecologist there again negative result. No clear periods yet only spotting.

Hi lybrate-user The pregnancy test results can differ depending on its sensitivity. Maybe the lab did a highly sensitive test and was hence positive. Spotting can occur in early Pregnancy when the embryo is attaching itself to the uterus. My suggestion is to wait a few days. Continue taking Folic acid tablets. If you start bleeding like normal periods, then possible you had an early miscarriage. Nothing further needs to be done. If you just have spotting, repeat test after a week. Possibly very early Pregnancy.
