I am 30 year male weight 98 kg ht 6 ft. I have recently started bp medicines due to sudden anxiety hypertension before 6 months .concor 1.25.as per doctor advice I stopped it for 10 days to check weather my bp is controlled. But again at normal tym my bp ranges between 130-140 by 85-95. Then he changed the medication to Tazloc 20. But as per second opinion from another doctor he suggested me olkem 20. Can you guide me if those recent two medicine are ewuivallent in effective ness! and which one is better?

1) The cause of your BP seems your anxiety and the most important bit is to address that by consulting a psychiatrist. Reducing this anxiety is going to reduce the BP automatically. This experimentation with medications is not going to solve the problem. And please understand each patient has a different response to different medication, which is best judged by the treating cardiologist, so kindly consult a cardiologist and follow their advice 2) Please do not measure your BP too frequently once in a fortnight by a doctor is enough. 3) Begin with daily 40 mins of exercise, diet modification for BP control detailed diet plan suggested by a dietitian, quit smoking and drinking, if you are overweight focus on weight loss with diet and exercise plan, check your BP levels after 6 weeks of following these precautions daily and working on your anxiety reduction, if it is still high consult a cardiologist for prescription of anti-hypertensive and then follow up with them.
