My doubt is, can a person who is effected with diabetes get rid of it? If he get so, is there any requirement to continue course/medicine prescribed.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Most often it is said that once diabetes develops it can not be cured completely. Medications will have to continue along with diet restriction and regular exercise for lifetime. However, there are instances of people reversing diabetes by reducing weight, taking a low carb diet and regular physical activity. Thanks.
