Sorry to learn that you have thigh pain that is persistent in spite of having many medications, Nice to know you go for a 40-minute walk too to keep you fit Your blood sugar too is nor t within the normal range in spite of taking some very good oral antidiabetic medications I will suggest that you start on basal insulin under the guidance of your physician so that you HBA1C drops to less than 7.

Thanks for the query. When diabetes goes on for some years even when it is well controlled there is possibility of developing neuropathy. The symptoms tend to increase if the control is not ood. Looking at your treatment already there are plenty of drugs. Still control is not as desired. Ideally fasting should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg and HbA1c% <6.8. Therefore, there is a need to give a closer look at your diet, and exercise first. Then if need be we may have to consider adding or changing the current medications. In this communication we can only give general suggestions no drug prescription is allowed. Hence if you are interested in any further advise on change of medication may please come in a private conversation (paid consultation), then I will be able to guide specifically and help in better control of blood glucose. Thanks.
