I'm having slight toothache on my upper molar tooth. What must be the reason? & what must I do? I'm very scared to approach the dentist. Is it a Root canal?

Treatments now a days are not at all painful. So relax and see a good dentist. Hopefully you will be able to overcome your fear. Only a clinical check up will help you know cause of pain. Also more you delay. Longer you suffer.
