I have swollen lymph nodes all over my neck could it be due to any kind of cancer I am totally afraid. I just felt it today when I touch my neck I felt it. It is not visible swollen but I can feel help me please.

Hi Lybrate user, There are many reasons for swollen lymph node one of which is cancer. Kindly consult local doctor, and get USG done. F/b routine analysis, ESR and if need arises get biopsy done to confirm the cause.

Swollen nodes are most commonly due to throat or dental infection. Second most common cause in India is tuberculosis. The third cause is cancer, which may be lymphoma, thyroid or head and neck cancer. Please see a head and neck surgeon or a surgical oncologist. They would examine you and May ask for an USG neck with FNAC or core Biopsy.
