I am 67 male, diabetic for 10 years, HBA1C is 7.5, serum creatinine is 1.67, T3 is 125, T4 is 7.7, TSH is 8.93, 25 OH vitamin D is15. 06. Now I am taking:- Trajenta 5 mg once daily, Volix 0.3 twice daily ecosprin 75 mg at bedtime. cardace 2.5 once daily. becosules z once daily. CD 3 60k weekly for 8 week. Thyrunun 25 mg daily on empty stomach. Please advice if I am taking the right medications.

Take medicine as advised. Get your fasting pp sugar after 1 month and TSH after 2 months.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Your blood glucose looks to be in fair control. Ideally HbA1c % should be <7. & creatinine also should be around 1.4 mg. So please look at your diet and may be the daily exercise, that can help in achieving the desired levels. As regards TSH which is again high. If there are any symptoms related to hypothyroidism, there is a need for slight (12.5 mcg) increase in thyroxine dosage. Thanks.
