My TSH was 14 on aug-17. Doctor suggested me to take thyronorm-50 mcg. After 2 months it came to 9 in oct-17. Then dose was increased to 75 and it came to 0.1 in nov-17. Later till Jan I continued 25mgc and then stopped. Now when I rechecked again it's 32. Is it dangerous? Should I start with 75mgc thyronorm again. Will it come to normal.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. When one is on adequate dosage of Levothyroxine, TSH is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, at that level all the symptoms are in check. Repeated changes in dosage are definitely not advisable. Since TSH now has again gone up to 32mU/L, there's a need for increasing the dose. It needs to be properly calculated based on weight, weight & TSH & T4 levels. Thanks.
