My serum TSH (ECLIA) is 6.300 micIU/mL -- where as the Ref interval is only 0.340 -- 4.250.currently I am on THYRONORM 50 mcg--one tablet on empty stomach. Can I increase the dose to 100 mcg? Or 75 mcg?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Usually with adequate dosage of Levothyroxine TSH is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, at which all the symptoms are in check. Therefore, you may increase the dosage by 12.5 mcg and check TSH after 6 weeks to see if desired level is achieved. Thanks.
