Sir, I am 37 years old male and 2 days ago I found my tsh level as 5.54 n d reference value of that hospital was btwn 0.55 to 4.78. In d same test my free T3 was 3.75 and free T4 was 1.39,which is within d reference range of that hospital. I have never taken any thyroid tablet till now, so should I now take thyroid tablet. Please reply sir.

Hello, Thanks for the query. The values mentioned are within normal limits. TSH also is fine. There is no reason for any treatment. Only when TSH goes above 10 mU/L there is a need. Thanks.
