My mother is 61 years old n she has sugar + CKD + Hypertension + Thyroid & her DCMP is 20% she is in need of diayalisis but doctors says that there is high risk if she goes through diayalisis. And also said that peritoneal dialysis will be safe for her instead of honey diayalisis. What could be done in this case please guide.

DCM with ERS. Bit complicated one. Let your physician take a call. Due to associated dilated cardiomyopathy, peritoneal dialysis will be much better as it reduces hospitalization for heart failure. Regards.
