Hello doctor. I am a patient of OCD and under treatment for last 1 and half years. Recently my doctor has changed my medicine from floxin 40 and sizodon MD to Esta 10. I also willingly stopped my medicine for 3 months after 1 year medicine. I have been asked to take up esta 10 one for first 10 days and then twice a day. Thus I have to continue it for 2 months which I just have started. Is it ok? Or can cause me any problem in future? I have not developed any side effects till now though. Kindly help doctor.

Hello, Escita contains escitalopram and is a safe drug. To monitor its side effect your doctor will prescribe regular test as required. In OCD a drug is tried at its maximum tolerable dosage for 3 month to check its effectiveness so its ok for you to take escita.
