Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. To suggest a dietary plan for a person with diabetes I need to know following details: His fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, present dietary pattern, drugs being taken with dosage, extent of daily exercise, weight, height and lipid profile and BP readings. General guide lines to be followed are: avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items, and foods made from maida. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables and salds. Always use whole grain flour for roti and chapati. Thanks.
