Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. In diabetes if a person has high blood glucose then a lot of it is excreted in the urine (glycosuria). This leads to loos of energy as well as loss of weight. Since you have not mentioned actual blood glucose values, it si difficult to comment. Ideally when diabetes is well controlled fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c& < 6.8. Thanks.
