My 18 month old daughter has got a blackened front tooth. Today we consulted a doctor who advised that tooth is dead now and gums are getting infected. The dead tooth needs to be extracted immediately. We took second opinion from another doctor who confirmed that there is infection but can be treated with root canal. When my daughter was 9 months old we noticed a pinkish tinge on this tooth which gradually kept on darkening and is almost black now. Need help whether we should get the tooth extracted or get root canal done or consult someone else if it can be treated through medicines.
